LongHorn Steakhouse Sets Opening Date in Bailey's Crossroads

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- The new LongHorn Steakhouse® in Falls Church will open its doors to the community for dinner this upcoming Monday, May 16 at 4 p.m., and will open for lunch and regular hours on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Located at 3562 S. Jefferson St., the restaurant will be led by Frank Vasquez as Managing Partner, according to a news release from the company.

The eatery is located just behind Olive Garden in Bailey's Crossroads, off of Leesburg Pike.

Here's a peek at the new eatery, by the numbers:

• 6,275 square feet
• Seating for more than 240 guests
• 80-100 new jobs for the surrounding community
• Open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

LongHorn Steakhouse notes that its steaks are never frozen and prepared by trained "grill masters."

The restaurant’s design "celebrates the natural beauty of the American West." The interior features contemporary artwork and sculptures of horses, western landscapes and sunsets complemented by warm tones, wood and stone.

The restaurant will open featuring LongHorn’s spring Peak Season and Chef’s Showcase menus, as well as the "Prime Time menu."

• Summer Peak Season – LongHorn’s Peak Season menu changes four times a year and features fresh seasonal flavors. This summer, guests can enjoy items like Fried Green Tomatoes as an appetizer, the Fire Grilled Corn on the Cob as a side, the Beefsteak Tomato & Bacon Salad, the Roasted Tomato Basil Soup, and the Mixed Berry Lava Cake as a dessert.

• Chef’s Showcase – The Chef’s Showcase menu celebrates LongHorn's Executive Chefs' culinary creativity. This summer, the menu features Pepper Crusted Filet and Shrimp, and a Grilled Hawaiian Salmon.

• Prime Time – LongHorn’s Prime Time menu features late afternoon specials, including a variety of $3, $4 and $5 drinks and appetizers. Prime Time is offered Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.
