Noodles & Company Opens Beauregard Location

Lunchtime is busy at one of Noodles & Company’s newest locations.

The popular chain opened a restaurant at 1480 N. Beauregard St., at the Shops at Mark Center, this fall. The restaurant is located in part of the space that formerly housed Blockbuster Video.

According to Noodles & Company’s website, the restaurant began in 1995 as a single restaurant in the Cherry Creek neighborhood of Denver, Colo. It has now grown to include hundreds of restaurants nationwide.

The “noodles” menu is divided into three categories: Mediterranean, Asian and American. Mediterranean dishes include whole grain Tuscan linguine, penne rosa — a spicy tomato cream sauce over penne — and pesto Cavatappi, curly pasta with basil pesto and seasonings.

Asian dishes include Japanese pan noodles — caramelized udon noodles in a sweet soy sauce — as well as Pad Thai, curry dishes and an Indonesian peanut sauté. American offerings include macaroni and cheese, spaghetti with meatballs and buttered noodles.

Dishes start at $4.50 for a small serving and $5.60 for a regular dish. Add-on protein choices — including chicken, steak, shrimp and organic tofu — start at an additional $2.39. The restaurant also offers soups, side salads and sandwiches.
