Alexandria Library Launches SummerQuest Reading Program – Alexandria’s library system is offering reading programs for children less than a year to 17 years old. This year’s SummerQuest theme, “Dig Into Reading,” will feature children’s performers and educational organizations such as the Alexandria Archaeology Museum. 

The Giving Circle of Alexandria Sponsors Car-Seat Safety Inspections – Alexandria charitable group offered car-seat safety inspections for low-income families participating in local playgroups. 

Waterfront Operations June 10 – June 14 – Eugene Loew, park manager of Alexandria’s waterfront operations, outlines maintenance performed on city parks during the week.
