Pedestrian In Critical Condition After Alexandria Crash: Police

The pedestrian was struck while crossing Van Dorn Street Wednesday evening, according to Alexandria Police.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A pedestrian is in critical condition after a crash in the West End Wednesday, according to Alexandria Police.

The crash happened around 6:15 p.m. in the area of North Van Dorn Street and Taney Avenue. Preliminary investigations determined the pedestrian was crossing Van Dorn Street when a vehicle struck him. It was unclear what the status of the traffic signal was.

The pedestrian, Erick Berrios Revello, 22, a resident of Bolivia, is at a local hospital. No charges were announced.
