Where To Find A Christmas Tree In 2020 Near West End Alexandria
Many local Christmas tree farms are taking COVID-19 precautions to ensure you and your family have a happy holiday.
West End Alexandria, VA — As the coronavirus pandemic threatens some of America's most quintessential holiday traditions in 2020, it may still be possible to take your family on the hunt for the ideal Christmas tree this year — and most importantly, do it safely.
Did you know that at least 25 million real Christmas trees are sold each year across America, and currently, 350 million are growing in all 50 U.S. states? During this unprecedented year, Christmas tree lots and choose-and-cut farms nationwide are taking precautions as the COVID-19 pandemic worsens to ensure locals can take home their ideal tree with minimal risk to their health and safety.
In fact, the National Christmas Tree Association has circulated a 2020 guide with recommendations and best practices for Christmas tree providers to follow, including frequently sanitizing items such as hand saws and tree cart handles, as well as countertops, restrooms and other areas. Special signage and personal protective equipment for employees are also being encouraged.
