2 Police Officers Shot, Man Killed In Federal Way
Two officers were hospitalized after exchanging gunfire with a man in Federal Way. Police said the suspect was killed.
FEDERAL WAY, WA — A man is dead and two police officers hospitalized after a shooting in Federal Way Tuesday morning. The Federal Way Mirror reported two officers made contact with a man in the parking lot of an apartment complex, on the 30800 block of 14th Avenue South, shortly after midnight. KING 5 reported police were initially called to the area for a dispute. Federal Way Police told the Mirror the shooting began shortly after they arrived. Further details on the circumstances have not been released.
Both officers were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive. The suspect died from his injuries. The Mirror reported the Valley Investigative Team are leading an investigation, per standard procedure.
