Whether you're in it for the beer or the brats, there are dozens of ways to celebrate Oktoberfest 2017 in Washington.

The original German Oktoberfest tradition takes place every year in Munich. It’s a cultural extravaganza, and this year, its celebrating it’s 184th anniversary. Now that’s a lot of beer!

When it comes to celebrating the German tradition in the states, Oktoberfest events in Washington are famous for paying tribute to the country’s heritage and rich culture, as well as serving up a ton of German food and beer.

2017 Oktoberfests Across Washington.

Fremont Oktoberfest, September 23rd-24th

  • 3503 Phinney Avenue in Seattle
  • Held in the Fremont section of Seattle, this Oktoberfest promises to be one that you'll never forget. With over 80 different craft beers and a variety of German food on the menu, this event has something for everyone. Bring the kids and the dogs too! There are plenty of events for the kids such as pumpkin decorating, a bouncy house, and more.

Oktoberfest Northwest, October 6th-8th

  • 110 9th Ave SW, Puyallup (WA State Fair Events Center)
  • Hailed as Washington's largest Munich style festival, the Oktoberfest Northwest takes place over the course of three days. With plenty of German beer, food, and events it truly has something for everyone to enjoy.

Spokane Oktoberfest, October 27th-29th

  • 2426 North Discovery Place, Spokane Valley (Center Regional Event Center)
  • Spokane Oktoberfest is an annual tradition that celebrates the culture, food, beer, and music of the German people. Come grab a beer and pretzel, listen to some German music, and play some games at the Spokane Oktoberfest.
