3 Arrested In Connection With Tacoma Man's Death
Three men were booked into the Pierce County Jail Wednesday night after a man was shot and killed Sunday morning.

TACOMA, WA — Homicide detectives have arrested three men in connection with the shooting death of a 25-year-old man in Tacoma, according to police. Officers responded to a house on North 21st Street early Sunday morning after someone called 911 to report a shooting at their home. Tacoma firefighters rushed the victim to a local hospital with critical injuries, but he later died.
The News Tribune reports the man killed was identified as Brian Cendejas. His family set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for funeral costs, which had raised more than $6,000 by Thursday afternoon. A post on the fundraising website remembered Brian as a kind and loving man whose life was tragically cut short.
"Brian was the best friend anyone could ask for. A loving uncle, brother and son. His contagious laughter and heart warming smile will forever be remembered."
Police have not released details on the circumstances leading to the shooting. Court documents should reveal more information when the suspects appear before a judge, which could happen either Thursday afternoon or Friday. The men could face charges ranging from second-degree murder to first-degree manslaughter.
