Rolling Stone gave the record, released last year, 3.5 stars out of five and wrote that it balances Matthews’ “newly refined living-room sensitivity and his band’s big-tent musicality.”
The tour announcement also comes after the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in October passed on nominating the band for inclusion in the exclusive club.
