Mark Romney Named Advocate Health Advisors Regional Manager

Advocate Health Advisors has named Mark Romney as Regional Manager for Oregon and Washington. In this role, Romney will be responsible for recruiting, training and supporting insurance agents.

Romney, who is based in Vancouver, Wash., will help established agents grow their Medicare business and work with national insurance carriers that offer Medicare Advantage plans.

Advocate Health Advisors agents are Medicare experts who serve as trusted advisors for those who are Medicare eligible and specialize in helping those turning 65. The company has agents in all 50 states and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

“I am excited to have Mark recruiting and leading top talent in the Northwest,” Advocate Health Advisors Regional Director Jason Roll said. “He has a history of finding talent and developing them for success."

Prior to joining Advocate Health Advisors, Romney was a district general manager for a national tax preparation service company. Romney also has extensive insurance industry experience as an insurance company agent, district sales manager and national change management liaison.

“I am looking to help agents achieve their goals and dreams, while providing exceptional service and products to their clients, as we become a key participant in the communities we serve,” Romney said.

Romney earned his MBA from Westminster College and a Bachelor’s Degree from Utah State University. In his community, Romney has been involved with the Boys and Girls Club in Utah and Wolverine Green at Utah Valley University.
