Get in the Thanksgiving (or Christmas) mood at a handful of festive holiday events this weekend.

Thanksgiving week is getting started early around Puget Sound, and there are several ways to get into the holiday groove this weekend.

Silver Bells Bazaar (Puyallup)
Puyallup's annual craft and small business bazaar is free to attend with a pet food donation. Proceeds benefit Northwest Boxer Rescue and other rescue and shelter organizations.

Woodland Park Zoo Turkey Toss (Seattle)
The public is invited to come out and witness animals at Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo chow down on some early Thanksgiving turkey and other holiday treats. The event itself is free but requires admission to the zoo.

Gobble Up (Seattle)

93rd Annual Tree Lighting & Open House (Sumner)

Sensory Friendly Santa (Puyallup)

19th Annual Turkey Trot 5K (Kirkland)
The annual tradition typically brings together more than 1,500 people to help raise money for Hopelink. Aside from the race, there is an expanded fair at Marina Park with face-painting, giveaways, and more.
