See 2019 Snohomish County Primary Election Results
See preliminary results for August primary races from Edmonds mayor to Snohomish County Council.

EDMONDS, WA — The first round of votes in the Aug. 6 Snohomish County primary election have been counted, showing which candidates in races from Edmonds to Port of Everett are likely headed to the November general election.
As of Tuesday morning, voter turnout was below 20 percent in most races — the Edmonds mayoral race had the highest turnout at nearly 19 percent. But the 2019 primary is the first when voters are allowed to register and vote on the same day, so turnout will continue to grow throughout the week.
Snohomish County voters are deciding a number of very important races this primary. Two County Council races have attracted a big number of candidates. Incumbent District 3 Councilwoman Stephanie Wright, who represents Edmonds and Lynnwood, has two challengers. But the District 2 seat, representing Everett and Mukilteo, is wide open, with eight candidates vying for term-limited Councilman Brian Sullivan's seat.

In Edmonds, Mayor Dave Earling is ending his time in office at the end of 2019. Two City Council members — Neil Tibbott and Mike Nelson — are vying for the seat against Edmonds planning department employee Brad Shipley.
The results below are preliminary. Snohomish County Elections will release new vote totals each afternoon, and the election won't be certified until Aug. 20. Only the top two candidates in each contested race will advance to the November general election.
