Motel Standoff Ends In Snohomish County
The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office said no one was inside the motel room when investigators entered Thursday afternoon.
SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A large law enforcement response was called to the 10000 block of Evergreen Way Thursday afternoon on reports of an armed man barricaded in a motel west of Everett Mall. According to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, the Violent Offender Task Force arrived on the scene shortly after 1 p.m.
The sheriff's office announced the suspect was not found when investigators entered the motel room shortly before 4 p.m. The suspect, a 32-year-old man with two felony warrants, is still at large. Investigators said the motel was partially evacuated during the standoff.
