Edmonds Police Find Child Abductions To Be Hoax

EDMONDS, WA — Edmonds police investigated complaint about two missing children on Monday, but were able to determine that the no one had been abducted.

According to police, two children were reported missing from a childcare center in the city on Monday afternoon. But when officers spoke to the children in question, they found the kids had fakesd the abductions because they "were just afraid of getting into trouble."

Police declined to release details about where the incident occurred to protect the privacy of the children involved.
