Edmonds Sand Sculpting Contest 2019 At Marina Beach Park In July

The Edmonds Chamber Foundation will host its free annual Sand Sculpting Contest for all ages at Marina Beach Park July 23.

EDMONDS, WA — Want to build a sandcastle? The Edmonds Chamber Foundation on July 23 will host its free annual Sand Sculpting Contest at Marina Beach Park. Artists of all ages are invited to attend.

The free contest at 470 Admiral Way in Edmonds begins at 10 a.m., with judging and an award ceremony to follow at 12 and 12:30 p.m., respectively.

The contest will be broken into three groups — adult, family, and children — with awards given to the top three sculptures from each category. The adult group will consist of artists 15 years and older; the family group will be for all ages; and the children group will be for youth up to 14 years old.

No preregistration is required; just show up with your own bucket and shovel and get to sculpting.
