Edmonds School Calendar 2019-2020: First Day Of School And More

EDMONDS, WA — The first day of school for the Edmonds School District is Sept. 4 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you'll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP.

The Edmonds School District has released its 2019-2020 calendar for public schools. The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• Sept. 4: First day of school
• Sept. 20: Early release

October

• Oct 4: Early release
• Oct. 18: No school
• Oct. 21-25: K-6 parent-teacher conferences

November

• Nov. 8: Early release
• Nov. 11: No School (Veterans Day)
• Nov. 27-29: No School - Thanksgiving Break

December

• Dec. 20: Early release
• Dec. 23-31: No School - Winter Break

January

• Jan. 1-3: No School - Winter Break
• Jan. 20: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
• Jan. 24: Early release
• Jan. 27: No School

February

• Feb. 14: Early release
• Feb. 17-18: No School - President's Day

March

• March 11-12: K-6 parent-teacher conferences
• March 13: No School

April

• April 3: Early release
• April 6-10: No School - Spring Break
• April 24: Early release

May

• May 8: Early release
• May 22: No School - Snow makeup day if needed
• May 25: No School - Memorial Day

June

• June 12: Early release
• June 18: Last Day of School
