Evergreen State Fair Announces 2019 Concerts

EDMONDS, WA - From the Evergreen Fair: Every year, the Evergreen State Fair entertains fair goers with five diverse nights of exciting Grandstand Stage concerts. The much anticipated concert line-up is here with the announcement of three of the five concert series.

The 2019 lineup: R&B/Hip Hop/Soul artist Aloe Blacc, Country artist Brett Young, and Christian artists Newsboys with special guest Adam Agee. Two more entertaining acts will be announced soon.

Friday, August 30 will be a night of R&B, Hip Hop, Soul and Pop fusion with artist Aloe Blacc performing his platinum-selling hits “The Man,” “I Need a Dollar,” and fan favorite “Wake Me Up” that he co-wrote for the late Swedish DJ Avicii that topped charts in more than 100 countries. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25-70 and will go on sale Friday, May 3 at 10:00 a.m.

Country hit-maker Brett Young performs on Tuesday, August 27 at 7:30 p.m. Young has produced four consecutive No. 1 platinum-certified hits including “In Case You Didn’t Know” which also won the BMI Country Award’s Song of the Year. His hits also include “Sleep Without You,” “Like I Loved You” and “Mercy.” Tickets are $25-70 and will go on sale Friday, April 19 at 10:00 a.m.

The Newsboys with special guest Adam Agee will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28 as part of the Newsboys United Tour. The Newsboys’ blockbusters span three decades. They will be united again performing all their hits on one stage for one tour including “God’s Not Dead,” “We Believe” and “Born Again.” Artist, and now front for Audio Adrenaline, Adam Agee’s favorites include “Paper Planes,” “The Sound of the Saints” and “Life is Good.” Tickets are $20-55 and will go on sale Friday, April 26 at 10:00 a.m.

Grandstand Concert Festival Seating for all shows are greatly discounted this year. Premium reserved floor seating and closer premium sit/stand bleachers are also available for purchase. This will be the second year of the beer and wine garden with access near premium floor seats and first year beer and wine from the garden can be purchased and brought into Grandstand Concert Festival Seating.

A family-friendly, alcohol-free section will be available in the Grandstands on a first come first served basis. All concert tickets include fair gate admission (a $14 value).

The Evergreen State Fair has always made agriculture and education an integral part of Snohomish County’s 12-day Fair.

Other features have been added over the years to engage a wider audience including racing events, diverse entertainers, interesting foods, artisanal Maker’s Market, rodeos, and beer gardens.

The 2019 Evergreen State Fair runs August 22 through September 2, themed “Jam Packed Fun!”
