Man Shot Multiple Times Near Lynnwood Shopping Center
Deputies are searching for a suspect after a man was shot several times near Lynnwood.

LYNNWOOD, WA — Snohomish County deputies are searching for two suspects after a man was shot twice in the parking lot of a busy shopping center near Lynnwood. Law enforcement arrived on the 2900 block of 164th Street SW, north of Alderwood Mall, shortly before 10 a.m. Witnesses told investigators there had been some kind of interaction between two vehicles driving along 164th before both drivers ended up in the parking lot outside Fred Meyer.
Deputies say both drivers left their vehicles, then multiple shots were fired, hitting one man twice. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Witnesses said a man and a woman fled the scene in a silver BMW, which detectives are still looking for.
A nearby health clinic was briefly placed on lockdown, as a precaution.
