EDMONDS, WA — Authorities on Sunday arrested two "people of interest" in connection with the Feb. 21 shooting death of a 7-Eleven clerk in Edmonds, police said Sunday afternoon.
Edmonds police arrested the suspects early Sunday along with a SWAT team and local authorities in Enumclaw, according to police, who also seized a vehicle as possible evidence.
Both suspects, who were already wanted by the state Department of Corrections, were booked into the Snohomish County Jail, authorities said.

"Mr. Kandasamy was a loving a dedicated husband and father whose family is desperate for closure," Sgt. Josh McClure said last month. "The motive for this horrific act is still being investigated."
Police at the time said a suspect seen on surveillance video fled the store to a waiting vehicle, driven by another person. That vehicle, a white four-door sedan, drove east onto 238th, before making its way onto 76th Avenue West and heading east toward the county line.
