Day 2: A Taste of Edmonds Continues Today

Sunny skies are forecast once again for the 30th annual event, the biggest in Edmonds.

The mariachi band was there. So was Janet Rayor on her stilts.

Blake Lewis dazzled on the main stage, while the Beatniks—as usual—stole the show in front of packed and frenzied mop in the beer garden.

The 30 annual A Taste of Edmonds, sponsored by the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, at the Civic Center Playfield in Edmonds with plenty of familiar attractions, new additions, lots of food, lots of sun and plenty of reunions.

Admission was free until 3 p.m., but today it's only three bucks, free for kids 12 and under.

Edmonds Patch will once again have a booth today, located by the beer garden and skate park. Stop on by, say hi, grab free stuff.

Among the many highlights today:

  • Miss Washington USA
  • Mark Shoop, an Austin Powers clone
  • The Atomic Punks (Van Halen tribute), Mr. Pink and Whiskey River in the beer graden
  • Show Brazil, School of Rock and Bristish Export (Beatles tribute) on the main stage
  • Kids' karaoke, Brian Ledbetter magic and The Not Its (indie rock) on the kids stage
