When Does School Start in Edmonds?

Even though you’re likely enjoying the summer sun, it’s hard to ignore those back-to-school ads for backpacks, pencils and gear to deck out that dorm room.

In Edmonds, kids head back to public school Wednesday, Sept. 4. (Teachers get a one-day head start.) You can find the whole 2013-2014 Edmonds School District calendar here.

The district also has calendars for kindergarten, calendars in Spanish and a list of holidays and early-release days, all posted on its website here.

Edmonds Community College students start a little later, with fall term beginning Sept. 23.
