Will It Rain? Forecast Calls For 'Chance' Of Showers In Edmonds Thursday

EDMONDS, WA - It's been more than 30 days since measurable rain has fallen in Western Washington, according to the National Weather Service. But that might change on Thursday. The weather service says that a weak low pressure system is moving in off the coast, which means rain could sweep through the region.

IF we get any rain - and it's definitely iffy - it will likely fall around 11 a.m. Here's what the weather service is saying about rain near you:

Seattle: A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 72. South southwest wind 8 to 15 mph.

Puyallup: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71. Southwest wind 8 to 11 mph.

Bonney Lake: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Bellevue: A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71. Southwest wind around 11 mph.

Shoreline: A 50 percent chance of showers, mainly after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70. South wind 5 to 7 mph becoming west in the afternoon.

Edmonds: A 50 percent chance of showers, mainly after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70. South southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the morning.

Woodinville: A 50 percent chance of showers, mainly after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71. Southwest wind 7 to 9 mph.

University Place: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 69. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
