100 Mile Marine Run on Saturday Helps Victims Like This Soldier

This Saturday, August 10, residents of Enumclaw will have the chance to cheer on a group of long-distance runners, all extending themselves for a day to help fallen soldiers from Washington.
Always Brothers, a non-profit fraternal organization made up of Marines, other veterans, and their supporters, is staging a 100-mile ultramarathon that will come through Enumclaw, Sumner and other area towns.
100 Miles for One Mind, will honor fallen U.S. service men and women from Washington state and will raise awareness and money for One Mind for Research, a Seattle-based non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of people, including veterans, who are affected by traumatic brain injury (TBI), post-traumatic stress (PTS) and other diseases of the brain.
The marathon begins at Lake Washington on Saturday and ends at Century Link Field in Seattle Sunday morning.
