Rainier Hills Young Life Seeking Donations Help for Palate of the Plateau

Greetings from Rainier Hills Young Life! We are gearing up for the Thirteenth Annual Palate of the Plateau & Benefit Auction! This event has been a great success and a lot of fun in the past, and we are excited for you to join in making this year the best yet!

On the evening of Saturday, March 23rd, Rainier Hills Young Life will host a food fair and auction at Enumclaw High School. This event will feature food booths with samples from area restaurants and donated items or services up for auction. We expect to draw around 400 current and future customers from Buckley, Enumclaw, Bonney Lake, Black Diamond, Maple Valley, and surrounding communities.

Young Life is an international, non-denominational Christian organization that takes the time to help kids navigate the rocky road of adolescence by going to where they are, accepting them on their terms, and showing them they are loved and valued more than they can ever know.

Locally, Rainier Hills Young Life has worked with teens on the Plateau since 1980 and has had the privilege of serving tens of thousands of area youth through weekly clubs, annual camps and most importantly, through adults who care. We do ministry in the Enumclaw, White River, and Tahoma school districts. We are a non-profit 501c3 and rely exclusively on the support of our local community.

Would you consider partnering with us by donating merchandise or services to be auctioned for the Palate of the Plateau? Our goal is to raise over $25,000 for the budget of Rainier Hills Young Life. All proceeds from this event go directly to benefit our local teens.

We will be accepting donations through Monday, March 11th. Any item you donate may be tax-deductible; our federal tax ID number is 84-0385934. We recommend you speak to your tax consultant to verify the deductibility of your donations.
