Avalanche Danger High Throughout Cascades This Week: NWAC
Danger is very high for all levels of terrain in the back country this week.

ENUMCLAW, WA - The Northwest Avalanche Center is warning hikers, skiers, and others heading out into the Cascades this week to be aware of elevated avalanche danger.
The avalanche danger is high in all three levels of terrain - above, near, and below the treeline - along the western side of the Cascades from the Canadian border to the Columbia River. There's an avalanche watch in effect until Tuesday night.
Avalanche danger along the eastern side of the Cascades is only slightly less dangerous. The danger is high above the treeline, and "considerable" above and below the treeline.
