Buckley Police: Man Arrested in DV Assault, Charges Possible for Unauthorized Audio Recording

The following information from July 12 through July 29 was provided by the Buckley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

July 12, 2013

Theft: Police responded to the 700 block of Main Street for a report of a theft of power. 

July 17, 2013

Unauthorized Recording: The city prosecutor was reviewing a case for possible criminal charges stemming from an employee at the Rainier School recording a private conversation between two other employees without their knowledge or consent.

July 24, 2013

Vehicle Prowl: A resident on the 1600 block of Whitehouse Avenue reported at 1 a.m. someone entered his unlocked vehicle as it was parked in his driveway. 

July 25, 2013

Assault: Police responded to the Rainier School at 9:20 a.m. for a report of a client on client assault.

July 26, 2013

Attempted Burglary: A man reported at 1 p.m. someone attempted to break into his home on the 1400 block of Collins Road and damaged his front door handle.

July 28, 2013

Theft: A man reported his wallet was stolen from the 700 block of Main Street at 12:30 p.m.

Assault: Police arrested a man for a reported domestic violence assault after responding to a residence on the 400 block of S. River Avenue at 3:03 p.m.

July 29, 2013

Shoplifting: A man was arrested, cited and released for shoplifting from a business on the 29300 block of State Route 410 at 1:19 p.m.

Theft: A man reported at 10 p.m. that someone had broken the passenger side window out of his vehicle parked on the 2100 block of Ryan Road and stole multiple items.
