Enumclaw Bridge Work To Result In Traffic Delays
The summer-long painting project will cause delays for drivers.

ENUMCLAW, WA - The SR 410 White River Bridge will be painted during this summer as part of a state Department of Transportation project. The more than 35,000 square-foot bridge will require 640 gallons of paint. The project started July 2 and will run throughout the summer.
Travelers should expect delays of approximately 30 minutes during alternating traffic, according to a statement from the city.
Drivers can expect occasional alternating traffic, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday-Thursday and from 8 p.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday.

The 70-year-old bridge that connects Enumclaw to Buckley will require additional work with rust and paint removal before the fresh coat of pain can be added.
