Enumclaw Lions Club Collecting Donations for Health Services

The Lions Club will be outside the QFC in Enumclaw from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11 to collect donations in support of the Northwest Lions Foundation.

Information provided by Trudi Schipper:

On May 10th and 11th from 9:00A until 5:00P, the Enumclaw Lions Club will be collecting donations outside the QFC store in Enumclaw. 100% of these donations go to the Northwest Lions Foundation. Among sight and hearing programs supported by the foundation is the Lions Health Screening Unit. Last year this mobile unit provided free check-ups for sight, glaucoma, diabetes and blood pressure to more than 33,050 people, most of them were school aged children. In the past ten years, Plateau area patrons have donated over $15,000 to this worthy cause.
