Enumclaw Police: Multiple Thefts Reported, Including Shoplifting of 20 Packs of Cigarettes

The following information from May 6 and May 7 was provided by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, May 6

Shoplifting: A thief reportedly stole about 20 packs of cigarettes from a business on the 1000 block of Monroe Avenue at 2:32 a.m.

Bike Theft: Police received a report at 9:37 a.m. that a bike was stolen from a property on the 1100 block of Griffin Avenue some time on Sunday.

Vehicle Stolen, Recovered: Police received a report at 9:42 a.m. that a vehicle was stolen from a property on the 300 block of Chinook Avenue overnight. It was recovered by King County Sheriff's deputies at about 4:30 p.m. on S.E. 392nd Street at Veazie Cumberland Road without damages.

Vehicle Prowl: A citizen reported at 12:33 p.m. that a vehicle on the 300 block of Chinook Avenue had been prowled sometime between Friday and Sunday. A broken key was found in the lock but nothing was stolen.

Theft: Four solar garden lights were reported stolen from a residence on the 300 block of Charwila Lane at 3:47 p.m.

Tuesday, May 7

Theft: A citizen reported at 10:34 a.m. that a license plate was stolen from a trailer on the 900 block of Mountain Villa Drive.

Theft: Police received a report at 6:39 p.m. that a mountain bike was stolen from a property on the 1700 block of Highpoint Street last Friday and a vehicle was also damaged.

Cyberthreats: Police responded to the 1100 block of Garfield Street at 4:45 p.m. for a report a student was receiving unwanted text messages from another student at school. The officer contacted the parent of the other student who would make sure the texts stopped.
