Enumclaw Police Respond to Kids Throwing Watermelon at House
The following information for Thursday, Aug. 1, and Tuesday, Aug. 6, was provided by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Aug. 1
Suspicious Activity: Police responded to a home in the 1900 block of Lafromboise Street where kids were throwing watermelon at a residence. The officers advised the kids to cease activity.
Theft: Police responded for report of shoplift in progress in the 1000 block of Monroe Avenue. Subject was arrested for third-degree theft and trespassed from the business.

Attempt to Locate: Police located a male subject who was walking in and out of traffic and took a bicycle from a yard near Porter Street and Davis Avenue. The man was arrested for theft.

Theft: Theft of lawn ornament occurred overnight in the 2500 block of Roosevelt Avenue.
Vehicle Prowl: Vehicle prowl occurred overnight in the 1500 block of Lafromboise Street. Nothing taken, no suspects.
Saturday, Aug. 3
Malicious Mischief: Some juveniles who were playing with a bow and arrow in the 700 block of Natalie Place damaged a vehicle by scratching it. The juvenile and the parent were contacted.
Traffic Stop: Police arrested a female driver near SR 410 and Roosevelt Avenue for third-degree DWLS.
Sunday, Aug. 4
Traffic Stop: Police arrested a female driver in the 1800 block of Harding Street for third-degree DWLS.
Theft: Police responded to an attempted theft of gas from two parked vehicles at a residence in the 25000 block of SE 432nd Street.
Monday, Aug. 5
Vehicle Prowl: Police responded to a vehicle prowl in the 800 block of Stevenson Avenue. The thief took a bank bag with $1,500, a wallet worth $30, $200 cash and $750 cell phone.
Malicious Mischief: Police responded to a malicious mischief to the windows at the Enumclaw Library.
Tuesday, Aug. 6
Traffic Stop: Police issued a notice of infraction for operating a vehicle without a valid license.
