Enumclaw Police: Vehicles Prowled Near High School Tennis Courts, and Pumpkins Thrown at House

The following information from Sept. 26 to Sept. 30 was provided by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Sept. 26, 2013

Shoplifting: A suspect was arrested for shoplifting after police responded to a business on the 800 block of Roosevelt Avenue at 12:01 p.m.

Theft: A bicycle was reported stolen from the yard of a property on the 1300 block of Davis Avenue at 4:48 p.m.

Sept. 27, 2013

Suspicious Activity: An officer on patrol at the Police impound lot on the 2000 block of Railroad Street noted at 12:09 a.m. that wires were stretched along the top of the gate. It did not appear any damage was done or that any entry was made.

Found Property: Various CDs were found in a mailbox on the 28200 block of SE 456th Street at 3:42 p.m. and turned in to police property.

Bike Found: A bicycle was found in the yard of a property of the 1300 block of Davis Avenue at 4:36 p.m. and entered into police property.

Sept. 28, 2013

Vehicle Prowls: Two vehicles were reportedly broken into while parked in the gravel lot next to the high school tennis courts at 2:44 a.m.  Both have damaged windows and are missing items. One victim reported the use of their bank card.

Attempted Vehicle Theft: A suspect reportedly attempting to steal a vehicle on the 200 block of Jewell Street at 5:47 a.m. was seen fleeing the scene in a black Ford F250 truck. 

Sept. 29, 2013

Assault: One person was taken into custody for assault after police responded to the 100 block of Roosevelt Avenue at 1:38 a.m. for a report of a fight.

Sept. 30, 2013

Possible Mail Theft: Extra patrol was requested for the 200 block of Michael Avenue due to suspected mail theft.

DUI: A driver was arrested for DUI after police responded to a one-vehicle accident on the 800 block of Griffin Avenue at 8:02 p.m.

Property Damage: A resident on the 1200 block of Garfield Street reported at 10:31 p.m. that someone had thrown pumpkins at the rear of the house. No suspects.
