“Boots & Spurs” Dinner & Silent Auction for Out of the Ashes Ministries

Out of the Ashes Ministries, a local South King County grass roots innovative program using horses for families in need of healing, is hosting their first annual fund raising dinner and silent auction Friday, April 5, 2013 5:30-8:30pm

Out of the Ashes is hosting “Boots & Spurs” a Dinner & Silent Auction at the new home of Real Life Church at 26201 180th Ave SE, in Covington, WA. The purpose is to raise money for scholarships for children and families to participate in the community based programs where young and old can find their place. With your help they will be able to reach out to more families, youth and adults.

The mission of Out of the Ashes Ministries is to partner with the community and build a successful consumer and family run organization that helps people heal and find their own voice through horse and human education. Out of the Ashes encourages people to develop their strengths, listen to their inner wisdom, and become successful in their own lives. The long term goal is to set up a ranch that would be a new type of community center. A place where people can come and see their life restored in a safe and loving environment and the animals help, as a part that support team. Through this approach people are learning to find their own voice and begin their journey toward healing and success.

Please join Out of the Ashes Ministries for a fun & heartfelt evening. Ride along with them, on an amazing journey; see how they are providing hope, healing and support to folks in the community that have experienced trauma, loss, and mental health challenges. They are hoping to blaze a trail, unlike anything else available in the country by presenting a program that highlights their unique peer approach and alternative options for mental health and wellness. Lives are being changed, please come hear some amazing stories.

Athens Pizza & Pasta has generously donated the food for the dinner at this special event. Additional tax deductable donations are still being accepted.
