Flood Advisory In Effect: National Weather Service

The National Weather Service flood advisory affects Enumclaw, Puyallup, Bonney Lake, and Edgewood.

ENUMCLAW, WA - The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for the area due to the combination of rain and melting snow.

The flood advisory is in effect until 10 p.m. Wednesday. The advisory specifies that Enumclaw, Puyallup, Bonney Lake, and others in the King-Pierce county area might see flooding.

"Rain later this afternoon and tonight combined with snow melt from the significant amounts of snow left on the ground from the storm earlier in the week will cause minor flooding in the advisory area later this afternoon into this evening," the advisory states.

Rain will move into the area around 11 a.m. Wednesday, according to the weather service, and will continue through tonight.
