"Good Guys" Cruisin' to Pacific Raceways

This Friday night, July 24, get ready for “Old School” Drag Racing with the 28th Annual Goodguys Friday Nite Drags. The race is a part of the Goodguys 28th Wesco Autobody Supply Pacific Northwest Nationals being held this weekend at the Washington State Fair Events Center. In addition to all the pre 1972 Sportsman classes of hot rods, street machines and the ever popular altereds will be the ground pounding Nostalgia Nitro burning Funny Cars. Tickets are $20 for general admission, and kids 7-12 get in on all the excitement for $6.00. The gates open at 11:00 a.m. with time Trials at 2 p.m. with Final Eliminations starting at 5 p.m. Then on Saturday and Sunday head out to the Events Center and take in over 2,500 Rods, Customs, Classics, Muscle Cars and Trucks thru ‘72 that will be on display. Saturday at 1 p.m. head over to the Nitro Thunderfest Dragster Exhibition for the sounds that were the beginning of the “Fastest Sport on the Planet”.
