Juanita Carstens Announces Bid for Enumclaw City Council

Juanita Carstens announced her intention to run for Enumclaw City Council position #5. The primary election will be held August 6th and the general election is November 5^th.

Juanita loves the community feeling of Enumclaw and wants to work to keep that feeling while promoting economic growth. She feels the responsibility to give back to her community and as a retired real estate professional she has the time and talent to achieve that goal. 

Juanita attended Enumclaw schools thru 8^th grade when she moved to Grand Junction, Colorado with her family. She graduated from High School in Colorado before joining the Air Force.

She and her husband, Jerry, returned to Enumclaw in the late 70’s and have made it their home for the last 40 years.

Juanita is a retired business owner and Real Estate broker. She is a Mother and Grandmother, and an active member of the Enumclaw Rotary Club.

When you see Juanita selling Ducks at the street fair, or serving as the Rotary Club Secretary or volunteering at the Empty Bowls fundraiser you know that she is sincerely dedicated to community service.
