New Enumclaw Fitness Studio Hosting Grand Opening Friday
The Garage Fitness Studio offers judgement-free workouts.

ENUMCLAW, WA - A new fitness studio will hold a grand opening ceremony downtown on Friday evening, which will feature a ribbon cutting, samples from Neal's Yard Remedies, prizes - and maybe a few squat-thrusts.
The Garage Fitness Studio was founded by personal trainer Heather Invie, literally in a garage. Six years ago, Invie was working as a personal trainer when a friend offered to let her use her family's garage as a studio space.
Now, she's marking a big expansion with a move to a 2,200 square-foot storefront in downtown Enumclaw. The fitness studio will feature commercial-grade equipment and offer personal training, group classes, and open gym hours.

Invie lives in Enumclaw, and has long envisioned having her own space downtown. She likes to support local businesses, and wanted to add her services to the mix.
"It's a community based facility," she said. "I want it to be a place where people feel comfortable in a non-judgmental and motivating way."

The studio officially opened on Jan. 2, and the grand opening event will be a way for locals to check out her offerings in a casual way.
