Passed Out At McDonald's: EPD Blotter 8/7-8/11

The following information for Aug. 7-11 was provided by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

August 7, 2013

Arson: Around 2:55 a.m., police and fire crews responded to a boat fire at Eric's Automotive on Railroad St. A tracking dog responded but they were unable to locate the suspect.

Suspicious Actions: A resident found a bunch of syringes dumped in the back parking lot of a business. Police disposed of the syringes upon response.

Missing Person: At Creation Fest around 11:30 p.m., a woman was worried her adult son had disappeared and hitchhiked back to Oregon. It was later determined that the Lakewood Police Department had had contact with him on his way and left a message for his mother.

August 8, 2013

Throwing Objects: Officers responded to a report of a man throwing objects in a parking lot on Cole Street and Initial Ave at 9:47 a.m. They determined that he was not taking his prescription medications, sent him home and he agreed to start taking them.

Public Urination: An apartment manager on the 300 block of Chinook Avenue saw a woman urinating in the parking lot at 9:49 a.m. She was arrested and booked for Public Disturbance and her car towed.

August 9, 2013

Assault: On the 100 block of Roosevelt Ave., an unknown male suspect punched an employee in the face. He also threw an unknown item at a vehicle and shattered the rear window. He then fled the scene.

August 10, 2013

Unwanted House Guests: In the 2900 block of Porter Street, a woman reported that subjects at her residence were using drugs and wanted assistance to get them to leave. They were given one day to move out.

Theft: A suspect used a hotel room on the 1000 block of Griffin Ave. without paying, gaining entry via the window. He or she left behind personal items. The hotel staff will handle if the suspect returns to pick up the items.

Vehicle Damage: Someone hit a vehicle with golf balls from the golf course near the Expo Center. Officers contacted the subject but are allowing the details to be worked out between the victim and the subject.

Threats: A teenager reportedly threatened to kill the son of the reporting party over the theft of his wallet. He said he had a gun and would come after the son. The victim told him a third party was responsible for the theft.

August 11, 2013

DUI: A man passing through the McDonald's drive-through was found passed out in his vehicle after receiving his food. He was taken into custody and his car impounded.

Unwanted Passerby: A woman reported that she thought her ex-boyfriend was driving by her house. The man left the premises and will return later for a civil standby to retrieve his property.
