Pet Licensing Door-To-Door Campaign Happening In King County

Don't fret if you hear a knock on your door, it might be someone from King County reminding you to license your pet.

ENUMCLAW, WA - Representatives form Regional Animal Services of King County are going door-to-door in Enumclaw and other local cities right now for a pet licensing awareness campaign.

During the campaign, RASKC representatives will remind pet owners about the benefits of getting pets licensed - and also that it's required by law. The $30 licensing fee (it varies by age and whether a pet has been spayed or neutered) supports RASKC, and it also helps lost pets get home more quickly.

It's also a deal compared to a fine: $125 for altered pets, $250 for un-altered dogs and cats.
