Ready To Ski? Area Mountains Now Open
Several Cascades ski spots opened for the season on Black Friday.

ENUMCLAW, WA - Two popular Cascades ski spots opened for business on Friday due to a combination of snow-making and recent storms that dumped lots of snow on high elevations.
Crystal Mountain opened at 9 a.m. Friday. The mountain has collected nearly 30 inches of snow over the last two days. As of Friday, the Discovery beginner area is open, as well as the gondola and the Green Valley quad. You can check out up-to-the-minute lift status and snow totals here.
Meanwhile up north, the Mt. Baker ski opened on Friday after the area collected some 45 inches of snow over the last few days. The Heather Meadows area was open Friday morning, but more areas may open throughout the day. Check conditions here.
