Small Earthquake Hits South Of Enumclaw
The earthquake struck just after 11 a.m. Friday, according to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network.

ENUMCLAW, WA - A small earthquake struck about 16 miles south of Enumclaw on Friday morning.
The quake was a magnitude 1.3, according to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network, and was centered along SR 165 near Fairfax. The quake happened around 11 a.m. and was located just a few miles from the entrance of Mt. Rainier National Park's Carbon River entrance.
A 1.5 magnitude quake hit on March 12 a few miles north of Fairfax. There have also been a number of very small earthquakes near the cone of Mt. Rainier. Swarms of small earthquakes are about a monthly occurrence near the summit of Mt. Rainier, however
