Suspected Drunk Driver Damages Corn Field, Mailboxes In Enumclaw

ENUMCLAW, WA — Charges are pending after a suspected drunk driver tore through an Enumclaw farm, damaging a recently planted corn field and hitting several mailboxes, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies responded to a property on the 21500 block of Southeast 456th Way Wednesday afternoon.
Investigators said the victim found a severely damaged truck on his property overnight and confronted the driver. According to deputies, the suspect admitted that he was drunk and had driven around the fields the night before, causing approximately $1,000 in damages.
