Unhealthy Smog Levels In Enumclaw: Clean Air Agency
The air in the Cascade foothills near Enumclaw is considered unhealthy for sensitive groups.
ENUMCLAW, WA - Smog has rolled into the Enumclaw area, and the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency is warning that the air is unhealthy for people in sensitive groups - including the elderly, the very young, and people with respiratory ailments.
The air will be unhealthiest during the hottest part of the day, which is usually around 4 p.m.
"Areas like Enumclaw should take care during the hottest time of day. Levels there are expected to be moderate [Tuesday] with slightly cooler temperatures," the PSCAA wrote in a bulletin.
