Winners Of Enumclaw Art Exhibit Announced

The City of Enumclaw has announced the winners for its third annual GEMs Miniature Juried Art Exhibit.

ENUMCLAW, WA - From The City of Enumclaw: The City of Enumclaw’s third annual GEMs Miniature Juried Art Exhibit at Enumclaw City Hall Gallery 2018 ran from July 6 through July 31, 2018.

The juror for the exhibit was Michelle Osborne, a Tacoma painter and house artist at the Proctor Art Gallery. The juror selected artists for the exhibit and identified the following award winners:

  • First Place, Teresa Dudik - $300
  • Second Place Arts Alive! , Nancy McLaughlin - $200
  • Local Artist Award, Jean Stanley - $150
  • People’s Choice Award, April Hurst -$50

The People’s Choice Award was earned by April Hurst was the result of votes placed by visitors to the exhibit.

Funding for the awards was made possible by entrance fees and donations from Arts Alive!, and community members.

City Hall exhibits are sponsored by the City of Enumclaw, 4Culture of King County, and Arts Alive!.

The current exhibit in Gallery 2018 is the artwork of painter Mary J. McInnis.

Gallery 2018 is located in the Council Chambers at Enumclaw City Hall. 1339 Griffin Ave. Enumclaw, WA 98022. Hours for the exhibition space are 9:30 a. m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Enumclaw City Hall is closed on national holidays. The gallery is closed to the public on Tuesday of each week for municipal court proceedings.
