2-Car Crash On SR 16 Causes Delays Wednesday Morning
The crash occurred near the Burnham Drive overpass just before 7 a.m. Nov. 21. Gig Harbor Fire crews responded.
GIG HARBOR, WA — Gig Harbor Fire on Wednesday reported a two-car crash on SR 16 east, off Burnham Drive NW. Commuters in the area were advised to expect delays for a short time.
Just before 7:30 a.m., the Washington State Department of Transportation tweeted an update noting the collision near the offramp to Burnham Drive overpass, at milepost 15, had been cleared. The left lane had reportedly been blocked.
GHF spokeswoman Tina Curran later confirmed there were no injuries as a result of this rear-end collision.

GHFD crews are currently at the scene of a two car motor vehicle accident on State Route 16 E off of Burnham Dr. Expect delays.
