8th Annual Beer Fest In Gig Harbor This Weekend

GIG HARBOR, WA — More than 20 local breweries will be ready to quench your thirst at the eighth annual Gig Harbor Beer Festival this weekend.

The Gig Harbor Beer Festival will take place from 12 to 5 p.m. May 18 at the Uptown Gig Harbor Pavillion, 4701 Point Fosdick Dr. Tickets to the event, which is a fundraiser for Gig Harbor Kiwanis, can be purchased for $30 either online or Saturday at the door.

Along with admission, a ticket purchase also gets you a 5-ounce Pilsner-style cup (courtesy of the Washington Lottery's Department of Imagination), eight taster tokens (care of Gig Harbor Brewing Co.), and a festival program (provided by DPI Print).

Additionally, two bands from Puget Sound will be on-hand to perform: Seattle-based Weezer tribute band Surf Wax Americans and Gig Harbor hometown favorite The Beatniks.
