Brush Fire Along SR 16 Extinguished
The fire was blocking two right lanes of SR 16 around 1:30 p.m. Friday.
GIG HARBOR, WA - Firefighters have extinguished a large brush fire burning along the eastbound lanes of SR 16. The fire broke out around 1:30 p.m. on the other side of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.
The fire was blocking two right lanes around 1:30 p.m. Friday. The fire was located approximately near North Jackson Avenue in Tacoma.
Lanes 1 and 2 are blocked Eastbound SR16 just east of Jackson for a brush fire. Troopers on scene advised the flames are close to 12ft high! pic.twitter.com/zXnHkF0Eg7
