Derek Kilmer Honors 2013 Congressional Art Contest Winner in D.C.

U.S. Rep. Derek Kilmer met last week with the 2013 Congressional Art Competition Winner for Washington’s 6th Congressional District, Rachel Lynch.

At an event in April, Rachel was announced as the 6th District’s winner. Last week, Rachel attended an awards ceremony in Washington DC and her work will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol.

“I’m very proud of Rachel and all who entered into the competition from our region,” said Representative Derek Kilmer. “I hope everyone who makes it out to DC in the next year gets the opportunity to check out her artwork in the Capitol.”
