Shellfish Testing for Bacteria - Bivalves for Clean Water

State of the Oyster Study volunteers invite you to join them to look at bacterial contamination on privately owned beaches in Hood Canal and throughout the Puget Sound.

Collect shellfish from your private beach and bring them to convenient pick-up locations in Pierce and Mason Counties. We will send them to a lab for testing. Results are not used for regulatory purposes.
