Fireworks Stand Applications Open Next Week In Gig Harbor

GIG HARBOR, WA - Excited for Independence Day? Next Monday, the city of Gig Harbor will begin accepting applications for fireworks stand permits. The deadline to apply is June 1.
To cover the costs of setting up a fireworks stand, prospective applicants can expect no less than $200 in fees, which will cover a $45 Fire Code permit, a $55 Fireworks Stand permit, and a $100 bond that is eligible for refund following the successful removal of the temporary stand and all associated debris therein.
Additionally, applicants are required to provide proof of a variety of liability insurances.
