
GIG HARBOR, WA - From The City of Gig Harbor: The Gig Harbor Police Department, in conjunction with the Pierce County Department of Emergency Management, will be presenting a free seminar on Earthquake Preparedness on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. The seminar will be held at the Gig Harbor Civic Center, 3510 Grandview Street, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. No reservations are required and the event is open to all.
The presentation will include ideas for disaster preparedness that aren’t complicated or expensive. It will show you that everyone can do something to be better prepared for when a disaster strikes and lead you on a path to quicker recovery.
Attendees will receive a free emergency kit tote which you can fill with your disaster preparedness supplies.
